Hi, I have created an IRC channel at oftc.net for OpenRailwayMap use just ago. One possible use is talking with absent attendees of real-life meetings or just simple talking and discussing about OpenRailwayMap related topics. I think that most users at #osm or #osm-de are not interested in special railway tagging topics.
