Especially in germany it's a whole branch of tourism these days. They
even have solar powered electric ones. The tracks are usually former
railway lines, not sure about the legal status of them, if they are all
officially out of service or if they are just not used anymore (partly
because there is no request and partly because neglect has rendered them
unusable for locomotives).
