Are you saying here that this is not an excepted tagging schema? I would
love this to be true as oneway=yes drives me nuts especially as I know the
fringe cases where this is not the truth for many of the ways tagged as
such.
railway:preferred_direction=* is not tagged on most railway tracks in
Germany (and it is even worse anywhere else except France when I had a
look at the numbers two years ago). If the tag is not used in the area
where the routing with support of that tag is tested, the results will
not be different with and without support of
railway:preferred_direction=* by the routing engine. It's like searching
for restaurants in a region where no restaurants are mapped in
OpenStreetMap. ;-)
