Afterwards it takes about one hour for processing until these changes are available in the main database. Tile updates take longer (up to about two days) but I plan to change the tile update in order to prioritise those tiles which are visited more often (currently all tiles with changes get treated equally). Updates are currently applied 7 times per day. You can check the freshness of map tiles at the debugging page at https://tiles.openrailwaymap.org/#osm.org/10/50.124841/8.673023&overl... by right-clicking on a tile and selecting the "tile status" option.
